This program is a mixed martial art program for boys and girls. Mixing the styles of Muay Thai Kickboxing, Tae Kwon Do, Brazilian Jiu-JItsu and Kali, our goal is to develop well rounded students with an understanding of the three basic areas of self defense; ground, stand up and weapons. By focusing on respect, goal setting, self discipline, perseverance and concentration students will develop their mind and heart as well as the body.
Using positive reinforcment and goal settting we aim to help each student become their personal best. We know kids just want to have fun we so work hard to dusgise repetition and make each childs experience an exciting, growing and empowering journey.

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Ages 4 - 15
Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is the leading art in ground self defense and is combat sport that focuses on grappling but especially ground fighting. It promotes the principle that a smaller, weaker person can successfully defend themselves against a bigger, stronger assailant using leverage and proper technique; most notably, by applying joint-locks and chokeholds to defeat them. BJJ can be trained for self defense, sport grappling tournaments (gi and no-gi) and mixed martial arts (MMA) competition. Sparring (referred to as ‘rolling’) and live drilling play a major role in training, and a premium is placed on performance, especially in competition.
